Homework Option 1: The SRCER pathway

This homework is to produce a written paragraph explaining what happens to your body when you touch a very hot oven plate.

1.     Your paragraph should outline the stages involved in the nervous pathway.

2.     You should describe each stage of the sensory (SRCER) path.

Homework Option 2: Problem page

This homework is to imagine that you are an agony aunt working for Denefield teen Magazine.

1.     Start off by reading through the problem page letters sent in to the magazine by teens

2.     Choose three (or more) of the problems

3.     Write an agony aunt response to answer your readers’ questions

4.     Try to include science in your response

5.     Try to be respectful of the teen issues and answer the questions with sensitivity
