Ecology – Food Webs 

Section A  

• Create your own food web for an ecosystem (a pond, a wood, a beach etc).
• You can draw it or make a 3-D mobile
• Extract three separate food chains from the web and label the following:

1. Direction of energy transfer
2. Producer
3. Primary consumer
4. Secondary consumer
5. Top carnivore
6. Predator / Prey
7. Herbivore / Omnivore / Carnivore

3. mark and correct your answers
4. stick it in the back of your exercise book
